Of course you know Tuesday is not Friday, but wouldn't it be awesome if it was?!
So,I have been a little down in the dumps lately, yep a real "Debbie Downer" (wha wha whaaa). My birthday is this week and I am just not in the mood for celebrating. Really...what is so great about getting older? I have more stray eyebrows than I can keep up with, parts of my anatomy have decided to go south for the winter or maybe even eternity and there is no wine in the house!
BTW - Happy Birthday to my fellow Octoberians and Scorpios.
Like many other bloggers, I made this blog to talk about a ton of things.I even created a Rants and Raves page. Another useless fact about me is that I use Pinterest. A lot. I hope that is not considering cheating? I mean, I am creative and I do come up with my own ideas but, come on, we all need a little help now and then. For instance, I took out a London Broil the other night to defrost. Well, tonight I was stuck on how I should prepare it. I really hate dry, overly well done, bland meat; I usually BBQ it but tonight I didn't have time for all that. I found some things on Pinterest that showed me the basics of putting the meat in the oven without over drying it, pan frying it, searing it in an iron skillet (next purchase), but they just didn't sound that great and I really wanted it to be grilled. I ended up pan searing on my grill pan and then baking it. You can check it out on my food page tab. I will post the pics and directions tomorrow with a link from my board on Pinterest, haha!
Have an awesome night!

Why I'm Here
A blog....What am I thinking?
A mother of 3 (ages 21,18 & 3), 40 hours of work, I cook, bake and craft, I am on the board of an International Admin group, and the creator of We Read on Purpose and now I blog.
Yes, I am little overly ambitious with my time and when it comes to new things, I am not afraid to take on a new challenge (why not, YOLO!) and I definitely love a good glass of wine when attempting that challenge. I love sharing knowledge with others and I am passionate about making, creating and trying new things that can be used to bring a smile to someone's face. I am one who enjoys sharing inspirational thoughts and when I have an idea that I think will help someone out, I will share it.
I have thought about creating a blog for quite some time and finally decided to jump on the "blogging" bandwagon. I do hope you enjoy what I share, as much as I enjoy sharing it with you. I am very excited to share my thoughts and projects with you, and welcome your feedback to make this a fun and entertaining site.
Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to meeting you!
Best to you always,
Stacy
